Welcome to Kyatto City!

Five hundred years ago a small city was founded here, just on the outskirts of the Ryou Forest. The name that the humans gave the city is a mystery, but it's history is not. This was a prosperous town for a while; there was a fur trade, a fishing business, and even farming to support the town as it grew. Eventually industry was introduced and there were factories that made many different products. But then, about ninety years ago, every human in the city mysteriously packed up and left. Their reasons for doing so were unknown, but it wasn't long before the cats took over and renamed their new kingdom. This is Kyatto City!

This is a Redwall called Martin's Legacy. We are new, literate, and need members. You can find the site at: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Martins_Legacy/index.php? There are story-centric positions open, too!

ML is rated PG, sometimes it may drift into PG-13, as it is a bit darker than the Redwall books.

Plot Synopsis:

Quote:
Many seasons ago, in the time of Kotir, Martin the Warrior left Noonvale and the North Shores and headed south. On the way there, he found a pretty mouse maiden who reminded him of Rose. Although he felt guilty about the whole ordeal, they fell in love, and they had a son who Martin named after his father, Luke. However, he was forced to give him up, so that he might continue his wanderings. Luke learned of his parentage some seasons later, and lost his mind in the process. He murdered his family and set off to find his father to take revenge for being abandoned. When he finally found Martin, he challenged the warrior mouse and fought him. Martin defeated him and gave him to a group of merchants.

The merchant ship was later attacked by a crew of Searats. All of the merchants were slain except for Luke, who was thrown overboard. The sea carried him to the shore, where he was found by a lovely mouse maiden. She cared for him, and he told her his story. She pitied him, and came to hate Martin too. They were later married and the mouse maid gave birth to a son, who was taught to hate and despise Martin and Redwall.

This son later wandered off and took over a kingdom to the north, ruled by a group of mustelids calling themselves The Brethren. This son's heirs slowly expanded their realm, until The Brotherhood ruled the North. But The Brotherhood was not just any horde; it contained creatures of all species, from fox to squirrel, ferret to otter.

And, during one hot summer many hundreds of seasons later, one of the mouse kings, descendant of the Warrior, heard that Martin's sword was no longer revered at Redwall and that the Abbey was in decline. Taking the opportunity, the mouse king lead a small group of woodlanders to Redwall. And there he found the sword of his ancestor, the sword which the Warrior had used to defeat his son in battle. And he took it, burning down the Abbey in the process.

With Redwall greatly weakened, vermin and evil woodlanders spread through the lands. Corsairs sailed up the River Moss to escape the Long Patrol on the Western Shore. Soon, there were corsair crews everywhere in Mossflower and it wasn't safe for woodlanders to wander away from Redwall.

In the north, there was a clan of rats descended from Cluny. They had all been taught to hate woodlanders and Redwall. At first, their leader tried to carve out his own empire, fighting against the Brethren and their horde. However, he realized that they both hated Redwall, and they decided to work together. And at the ruins of Marshank, a descendant of Badrang found his ancestor's fortress and made plans to rebuild the fortress. He gathered a band of slavers and went into Mossflower Country to enslave the woodlanders there. With these three great dark hordes; those of Badrang's descendant, the clan of Cluny, and first and foremost, the Brotherhood, the reign of the vermin is at paw.

Now the creatures of Redwall, torn apart by inner rivalries and rabid racism towards "vermin", must try to band together and retrieve the sword. But the King of The Brethren is most definitely not the only problem standing in their way, most especially since it is only the Father Abbot himself who trusts in Martin's Sword - and he may not be Father Abbot for long...

Forks, Washington has always been a place where things have been simple. Recently with the influx of vampires, people have failed to notice those that have gone missing. The werewolves can't hurt the Cullen clan, they've not broken their contract, they've not hurt a soul. But it's open season on vampires. With everyone in a whirl-wind of vampiric chaos and death tolls in Forks rising, the Volturi still haven't shown their faces to stop the madness.
¤ ¤ ¤
Following a trio in Italy, the Volturi are winded and tired. Their bodies go forever, but their minds, caused by blackness in their tracking and the inability to see the ones being tracked they're growing weary, ready to return home. That is when a sense comes. the smell of a creature closer. He's bleeding, wounded. He's what they're hunting. The fourth to the group, making it a trio that's on the loose, rather than four. His words lead them all to Forks, where the Volturi come armed, ready to kill.
¤ ¤ ¤
They carry no scent. They are close. Two males, a single female, each varying in size, each meek and unwilling to become part of a group. What are they? What could be dangerous enough to distract the Volturi when they were clearly challenged by such scary numbers that have climbed in Forks?
¤ ¤ ¤
This RPG is set during the time of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight novel. But it's in your hands now if you, the player, will simply play out her series plot or deviate from it. Only you can tell ... or can you?

Deep Forest is much more than a forest, for it is no coincidence that so many creatures have been called here to these seemingly ordinary woods. From the Wastes that surround the outer portions of the forest, through the Forest itself, towards the River and into the eves of the eerily glowing Silvertree Grove. Even within the Meadow of Peace to the Swamps at the foot of the Boundary Mountains, good and evil alike are drawn here. This forest is much more than a forest. Hidden within the land, beneath the colossal trees, lies a darkness, a Destiny, that these creatures share for good or evil. Should the past become present all shall be lost.

---

Futures and lives are written and experienced in a post by post fashion as we write together for the inhabitants of Deep Forest. While Unicorn's Visions may not allow human-kind, there is a vast amount of extraordinary creature's within its confines. From ghosts and ghouls, spirits and demons, wolves, unicorns, and fallen angels, UV provides a safe, well managed, and respectfully fun atmosphere. Featuring a main website at unicornsvisions.com. We host a gallery for our users, a blog area, and a chat where you can come in, socialize, and ask questions when needed. Come join us on our journey as we learn the truth about Deep Forest and what can be found beneath the trees.

Good and Evil. Heaven and Hell. Light and Dark.

No matter what you wish to call it, there are always two sides to everything. Every life, every death, every war. Both think that they are right and never bother to look at their own imperfections. Old scars, that run too deep to be healed, split these pairs. Even those who remain impartial to either would side with one if the right words were chosen when presenting the idea for an alliance. The right offers need to be made, and even a wolf of shadow can be brought to the light. It is just a matter of knowing what they want.

Land. Love. Hate. Duty. Revenge.

Have you ever asked yourself why you fight? Why you are so focused on this one thing? Whatever your reason, there is most likely a pack that holds the same morals as you within the lands of Wolf Print. Whatever your reason to exist may be, there is always those against your reasoning. They, of course, are your enemy, and you find yourself locked in combat, sometimes even for the silliest of reasons. Whatever the cause, there are always those scars, those deep, deep scars. These scars, these vendettas, are passed down through the generations, and another war blossoms. There is no end to it. We all recognize this, but we never attempt to stop it. We are who we are, and, in the end, we are the reason for our suffering. Welcome, to Wolf Print.

Plot:
The world as we know it is gone. Humans are scarce and have vanished. This is now 2222, almost 100 year or more since the humans nearly destroyed themselves and ran themselves into starvation and ruts. Natural resources that we once knew, such as oil, gas and electricty are all used up. Citys have been abandoned and lie in ruins now. The few humans that had survived have taken to canibalism and remain hiding during the daylight hours. Though they are not positive to remain surviving for long. Canines and wolves are the ruling species now. Canines against Lupines is the way of the world now. Some wolves and dogs are working side by side, while others have decided to pit against one another and have taken sides and fight to keep their right to survive. Most of the cities have become overrun with forest and dense woods. Buildings that are in ruins are now covered in vines and shrubbery. There's one question...What side will you choose?

An earthquake rattled the lands of Scarred Warrior, wiping many equine off the face of this land. Many have gone missing as a result; including the tribes. They've been completely destroyed and reformed, split by a swift river running smoothly through the grounds and separating them into the northeast, southeast, northwest and southwest.

Now, the tribes are known as the light, dark, neutral and shadow walkers. The shadow walkers are, by far, the most feared. But, they don't have their own locations. Their lands are entwined with each other in each group, making it all the more dangerous. The Alliance and Spiritspawn's army have disassembled, and no longer exist as there is no threat on the lands, nor any good for the time being. That is, of course, until a new dark one rises.

Will you stay hidden in the rubble to rot, or will you rise and try to make something of yourself? The time has come, and the Scarred Warrior is seeing a new era. One in which much has changed, though a little is the same; Spiritspawn's family still holds high under the command of two new forces; Zodiac's Call of the Northwest DreamWeaver of the Southwest.

Prepare to join the two in their journey to conquest the land, while DreamWeaver continues to search vainly for her lost love, to join a force that will soon rise against them, or to remain a loner. Which shall you choose?

Twenty Fourteen
A Post Apocalyptic Stray Dog Roleplay

Almost two decades ago, in a small town named Plenty Wood, life was peaceful. Humans and dogs lived up to the age old nickname of "Man's best Friend" and not much happened in the town.
Among the people of Plenty Wood their lived a menace, which was neither human nor animal. Instead it was a quiet predator, slowly spreading it's poison among the dogs of Plenty Wood. This was... the flea and the tick. These creepy crawlies were becoming a major problem, yet no one seemed to notice except for one women.
In Plenty Wood, there lived a women in her late thirties known as Emily Groendal. Emily had lived there all of her life, and being born and raised in Plenty Wood she had grown quite accustom to it's Stepford like community. And While Emily's intentions were good they began rocketing the town to a downhill crash course. Through a horridly karmic chain of events, the dogs of the town grew sick, and turned into ravenous creatures. The Main Cause of this? Emily Groendal. Dogs went against humans, and humans ran for their lives. When the dust cleared, the town lay in ruins, and abandoned of all life. Now years later in 2014, the first inhabitants are appearing.
Welcome to 2014

Please bear in mind this is a very brief snapshot of the actual history/plot. To read it in full please visit our site.

Fetch!

Many wonder what happened to it all, what happened to Fetch! and only an unlucky few have found out.

Long ago Fetch! was a peaceful place, even after the horrible Earthquake that made this region an island and ruined many things for plenty of the characters. Still, all the canines found a way to keep moving, to pick themselves up and get on with there lives. However, something new has happened and for lack of what is really happening and how to defend themselves, many are lost on what to do and more are falling into the dangerous traps and fatal things that will change their lives forever.

You, like all the other strays and unwanted animals, remember when you could move safely through the cities and outskirts, but also like the others now know that things have changed. You must spend your days watching for the men in the white suits, the scientists. They hunt down all those who they know will not be missed and take them for testing. Humans and other strays hardly notice the disappearance and for this reason, you may never be found and like the others caged up with you, you may be forgotten and never seen again and if you do get out, you won't ever be the same. The so called 'lucky' few that escape have something wrong with them, even if it is just a temper change or something much more noticeable like colour change or even wings! Of course, most of these changes are seen at night, but neither the less, as a mutant you are a threat and are dangerous, especially with the fact that a single bite from you could easily temporarily pass on your mutations.

On the other hand, if you can manage to not get caught by the scientists, you must watch out for the other canines. A new disease has also emerged, one that is killer, dangerous, and so far, has no cure. Like the mutations, a single bite could easily pass on the disease, but this will not go away on its own and will drive you to perhaps insanity. Fights are becoming risky and the streets are no longer safe.

Can you stop the humans? No.
Can you help the mutated? Somewhat.
Will our lives be changed? Yes.
Will we accept it? Maybe.
Willing to try to survive?
